The other night I had deconstructed pumpkin pie, it is served as a dip with cinnamon graham crackers for dipping. It wasn't bad, but I don't see the point -- I would rather have had just regular pumpkin pie with some whipped cream. ;-J

Well then, wasn't there any chance of reconstructing it?

This thread confuses you Robinson? Really? Your and megrfl's avatars confuse me. Who is that? Should we all adopt that photo?

    I'm intrigued.

And when intrigued, I turn to pie. Helps me deconstruct the situation.

She currently resides in Thailand and is married to Paradorn Srichaphan.

Now that is some fine pie.

I wish I'd taken up tennis professionally, tied up Paradorn in the basement and assumed his identity.

Then I too would have an elegant sufficiency of pie.

Hahah!! Nice one. As a kid, I ate a 4n20 during half time in the St Kilda v Collingwood match in 1966 at the MCG. Duzzn't get more Orstralian than that.

    Still love a good 4n20.

By the way, if you're ever in Adelaide, esp. on a cold winter's night, try a Pie Floater.

    (let your imagination run wild..)

I don't have time to read entire thread, so apologies if that pie has been previously offered and thusly over-cooked.

Pie Floater - isn't that a meat pie sat in a bowl of baked beans (or as I like to call baked beans, "1 Bean Salad")? Or is it in a soup?

ETA: ah, yes, pea soup. Honestly, never had one. Should've taken the opportunity for one when in either SA or NSW.

Yes, Pea Soup.. - it's a simple concept. You could do one at home... but the quality of both the pie and the pea soup is critical, and also, unless you are out late at night and it's cold-as..

well... it just wouldn't be the same. It's... the vibe.

Better floating pie than sinking pie.

Floating, sinking, so long as they're not winking. Wrong thing, right thing, the floating pie is sinking. You scream, I scream, we all scream for pie scream. Pie scream? I scream, whatever was I thinking?

I'm pretty sure it had something to do with Monty Piethon.

Perhaps one could take part in a pieathalon, a competitive endurance pie eating contest.

I just realised that this pie floater, well, could it be the piemordial soup from which life sprung?

A piece of work for sure, all senses pied or' the pier - let's not yet raise to piety.

You've fallen hard, haven't you? Splash some cold water on your face and snap out of it.

PS. Twas a lovely song to dedicate to pie.

It's also the theme music to the show House. And the video is Hubble images and such.

    Digital pie, it's delicious.
