Just above freezing, some light snow but melting a bit, brought in some wood, got the mail and took the trash out. Now time for lunch.

-22 C and clear skies, didn't want to go out last night because I heard the coyotes out there last night when I woke up for a while. Now have to get ready for long day, cold start but because you are constantly moving you keep warm. But gotta my bag ready, drinks, snack and a book in case I don't get the car and come back for lunch.

Overnite temp dropped to 22F here, it has still not dropped below 20F this entire winter which is unusual. At least the rainy period is over for now.

We just had two fairly unpleasant days. Friday we maxed out at just under 41C. Then yesterday the temperature dropped a lot but the humidity went through the roof, for here anyway. The maximum was only around 26C but the humidity got above 80%. This is pretty unusual as, for example, when we were getting up towards 40C on Friday the humidity was only around 23%.

Today is around the same temperature as Saturday but a lot less humid

Got about 2 inches of snow day before yesterday and last nite's temp dropped to 21F, still no cigar on dipping into the teens, yet. That 21F most likely fried our plum blooms, no other fruit trees near blooming time yet.

On my little walk, one deer walked across a small pond, it didn't thinl it was that cold lately to freeze over that much.

The storm has started with sleet, went out to get the recycling bin before it is coated in ice. They seem to be quicker on the week to pick up recycling. No more outdoors for me today.

A really sunny and a bit cold day and not a flake of snow that I thought was coming because of the weather forecast friday. The BIL was here to drop off his tractor after the steering got fixed, now completely hydralic. Brought in some wood but the boots started to get icy. Trying to stay off the tv for as long as I can hopefully make it to the news.

Sunny with a north wind blowing right down the road. Todays big thing is to bring enough wood for a few days because I probably won't be in the mood to do it over the weekend.

Rain, and more rain. Since January 1 we've had 18.59 inches of rainfall, or about 37% of our average annual total - in just two months. And more to come as spring arrives. wish we could ship it to areas that are having drought.

Well you could send it to us in Western Australia - if you are keen on building a looong pipeline.
