Old Task: Make a music CD.
Wow: "Don't Phear the Reaper" with more cowbell.
Shock and Awe: "Don't Phear the Reaper" in 800 part cowbell harmony.

    New Task: Tie your shoes.

WoW: Gather a band, spend some time writing songs, and hit the recording studio.
Shock and Awe: Melt the silicone and form a CD by hand, then free-write to the cd with a focused pen-laser device, creating the music tracks "freehand".

    Task: (Moose's: Tie your shoes)

Wow: Appear as a sidekick for Batman.

Shock and Awe: End up as the next new Superhero and have a comic made just for me.

    Task: Speak 5 different languages.

Old task: Speak 5 different languages
Wow: No habla espanol, por favor. Ich spreche nicht Deutch, bitte. Wakaremasen, gosen nasai. Je ne parle aucun Français. Lawl, whut?
Shock and Awe: Doctoral dissertations in Klingon, Old Elvish, the dark language of Mordor (which I will not utter here), ancient chinese (your choice of dialect) rendered in binary, and that African language with the glottal stops.

New Task: Build a better mousetrap.

You know, we're doing the Age of Revolution in Social Studies class, and Karl Marx made me think of this game:

Task: Do something about the poor conditions of industrial workers.

Wow: Plan to lobby for a change to labor laws.
Shock and awe: Plan to overthrow all businesspeople everywhere and create a society without social classes.

Wow: Build a mower with standard hardware store parts. Mow lawn.
Shock and Awe: Following Mike's inspiration: knit an entire flock of sheep using standard goodwill store woolens. Never mow the lawn again.

Next task: Open a can of tuna.
Difficulty: Tuna should end up in a sandwich, while the tuna water should be separated into a bowl for the cats. Both tuna and water must remain untainted and tasty.
