    Missing Members

Hey, noclevername hasn't been around since May. I wonder what's up?

I have been thinking the very same.

    Interesting.

Maybe because he's the one of the fast poster here whenever he's online. He'll plague almost all the threads in no time.

Maybe he's just on vacation, or have a New Work that made him busy .

Funny, we were just talking about him and I even thought about making a thread called "missing Members" too!

    I knw why...
    Quantum Entabglement.

I didn't make the thread because it seemed more like a "Where the heck did NCN go?"

But let's make sure that Serenitude is on the list too.

    What happened to the 'Tude?

At least I know Dragonstar and TRS are alive- and they have the habit of kinda coming and going whenever...

You want someone who's been gone a long time though, look at TheBlackCat. I've been wondering about him.

Yeah, even I have been wondering about TheBlackCat. He did a lot of
really helpful posts in general science.

I would imagine people just lose interest and drift away from the site, without having a "Cheerio!" thread, pretty often. I've often lost interest myself, but usually not for more than a week or so.

TheBlackCat still seems to post in the BA's blog every once in a while.

    Yeah, I hear ya

But I think the purpose of this thread is for those members who can post but for some reason are not- and are being missed

Are you referring to the alleged "member" thieves?

Normandy6644 sorta drifted away from posting here. He posts mainly over on FWIS. He currently is an officer in the Army, stationed in Iraq.

I'll bet he pulls up everything in which he's interested into a separate tab, responds to all of them, then goes down the line clicking the "Submit" button for each one at 31 second intervals.

Nope, just get a rhythm going, that's all. And also I'm back.

Just as well. For meaningful posts, extremely high post rates are unsustainable and lead to burnout. Stick around, take it at your own pace, and have fun.
