    Hello

First post, hello to everyone, thought I'd try to post an image of my latest Comet Holmes pic. Meade LX200r and DSI II color with a 3.3 focal reducer, 80 images at 8 secs each, even in the city I got a light green halo of carbon monoxide gas.

It's the most exciting celestial event in a while - at least one that amateurs can view.

    hello boba,

    welcome to the group!
    nice starter image!
if I may: perhaps you should try to increase exp time or draw some darks. that would deminish the noisyness on the edges of the comet.

Thanks stargazer for the suggestion, if the clouds move away I will try again, no filter suntrack2, except with the ir filter that came with the DSI II.
