OK, I got it . But I'm not saying anything more 'cos I don't have any <movie> quotes to serve up .

Hey, you! "It's" with an apostrophe means "it is" or "it has." "Its" without an apostrophe means "belongs to it."

"For shame, gentlemen, pack your evidence a little better against another time."
-- John Dryden, "The Vindication of The Duke of Guise" 1684

Earth's sole legacy will be a very slight increase (0.01%) of the solar metallicity.

The rules (such as they are) are spelled out in the original thread (now locked for growing too big). Go ahead and post your guess. If Roy says you're correct, then you get to post a quote and judge the answers.

I'm thinking that it's probably one of those cheesy b&w films that have been on MST3K... but then I did go to a MST3K 4 film all-nighter last weekend so am probably still suffering after effects

STARCRASH? The Italian STAR WARS ripoff directed by giallo-hack Luigi Cozzi...er, I mean, the Marjoe Gortner and David Hasselhoff international space extravaganza directed by european auteur Lewis Coates!

...but Oh my lord, Caroline Munro!

David Hasselhoff???! Italian Star Wars?? Now that I have to see!

But no..... mind you there is a (very) loose connection with one of Hasselhoff's other, dare I say it, creations.

Ok .. its pre- Star Wars .. but post- 2001 Space Odyssey. And it has 2 things in common with Baywatch.

    The Green Slime?!?
Nope. (Don't think I've seen that one, sounds fun!)

Another clue..... was the first film for writer and director who both went on to make hit sci-fi movies.

    Thumbs up

    Correct!!

    The Baywatch connection ??:-
    1. Both have surfing (DS has one of the crew surfing down to a planet on a piece of the wrecked ship)
    2. The best acting performance in each was by a beachball!!

    Take it away...

Listen to them. They're still out there. Billions of 'em. It's as if it's their city.
