I’m afraid I didn’t recognize the name, but I did recognize his face at the linked story. I’ve seen him on Mythbusters and Star Trek Continues. That’s too bad. At least it sounds like it was pretty quick.

That is sad to hear. He always seemed so charmingly enthusiastic on Mythbusters.

My favorite Mythbusters episode was about Internet Mind Control devices. They give Grant a bicycle helmet, string, a stick, a crystal and some other bits of junk and ask him to solder it all together. Grant keeps muttering, "If I were an engineer..."

Wow. There's "too young" and then there's way, WAY too young!

My recollection is that he first met Adam and Jamie while running a team in one of those robot wars shows. They worked for him!

I agree with him being too young since I'm a generation older than he was.

If I could, I’d talk the Grim Reaper into a swap with me taking his place. We need bright people.

Deadblow pecks its way to victory no more.

Grant was a smart, skilled, good looking and fun guy - he had a great smile and enjoyed life.
Even now he's set up in the workshop only Heaven can give, building the ultimate Battlebot.

    We'll miss you, Grant!

To quote a post I saw on another site: “We need to build a Grant Imahara replica robot. It’s what he would have wanted.”
