    Smile Orion taken by a cell phone camera

    My wife has a Google Pixel 3, and the other night she stopped on the deck by our front door to take a picture, by hand, of the constellation Orion. This is how it turned out. Astronomy with your cell phone!

    Just realized Sirius is in the lower left of the image.

    Shirley, you can't be Sirius!

    Yeah, phone cameras are remarkable. We've been to the Tetons a couple of times in the past five years and taken lots of pictures with a DSLR, compact digital cameras, and phones. Guess which ones came out best.
