I guess I go here.
Hi everyone! I'm 25 years old, a 'she' from USA. I joined this group to explore more interesting stuff about the universe and the skies.
I was so curious with the movie "Interstellar" that I started to wonder about life in space and the relation of time, relativity and gravity.
Hope to meet virtual friends here as well.![]()
Saw this forum referred to a few weeks ago somewhere on the GH (Graham Hancock) forum and thought it would be interesting, so joined today, well, actually the Tech chap did it for me, /Why the Tech chap, you might ask? Because I use Dolphin SuperNova excellent assistive software. I used to be a believer, but fortunately only in a god/force/power and none of the other supernatural stuff and, since being on several message boards for 14 years, have challenged and enjoyed discussions on a variety of subjects. I'm 84 but will keep on doing this for as long as I am able.

Hi all,

Hi guys. My name is Kay Burton. I'm a happy dad. My daughter is interested in astronomy and not so long ago I joined her hobby. I have already studied all the books on astronomy that my daughter has, and even bought a few in the store. I would very much like to talk with those who are interested in the same hobby. I hope that on the forum I can learn a lot of new things and my daughter and I will be able to develop in our hobby.![]()

Hi all, my name is Jacob. I'm 36 years old, married + 3. Actually, I use always fascinated by space and the moon. I really loved the series of Neil deGrasse Tyson: "Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey" I guess everyone here already watched itAnd if not - it's highly recommended!
Hi everyone. I went back to school a little later in life and graduated 2016 with an ms - computational physics. I work on my own ideas and hope to present a couple (ATM).
First, I thought you might be interested in my thesis subject where I generalize the Hohmann transfer. Introductory textbooks teach that Hohmann transfers apply only between circular orbits or co-axial elliptical orbits. This is simply not true (ATM). I presented it, but never published it. I would appreciate a review and I think you will find it interesting.
The second idea is what I have been working on since. Really, really ATM....cross that bridge if we come to it.
See you on the boards, Mark

I'm Dennis Armstrong from Northern California. I've loved all things space since my pre-teens. I was blessed enough to fully understand how awesome it was when I was 16 years old and Neil Armstrong stepped onto the moon. And it is stunning to look back and recognize NASA did it with such archaic equipment. After a disappointing lull in w World interest in space, it is exciting to see the sudden surge in interplanetary travel and breaking Astrophysics Advancements. I've gone from Realizing we may never know if there are exo-planets to a current count of over 4000 confirmed and an exponential increase in discovery.
I'm also glad to have a forum to communicate with other professionals/enthusiasts without having to listen to Astronomy targeted to lay people over and over. I always wished I lived in the future, and now here we are.
Hi Dennis, welcome to CQ.
Hi all, I am new here. Everyone may have hundreds of quests but I have only one and that is "Visit to Moon"![]()
