It's a video conference and they're delivering the dinner.

Or its a regular dinner and their message is that you'll die before you ever retire...

Overhere, I got lots of email spam from private sauna's (not the exotic kind) telling me they stay open during the corona crisis. Yeah, well, I'll pass.

A lot of fast free places in Canada have already changed their ads stating food is for pickup and take out, I think a few are offereing free delivery.

The saunas may be hot enough to kill the virus.

The sauna cabins perhaps, but overhere they're total wellness concepts which also have a hot tub, pool etc. Which I currently do not want to share with others.

Hot tubs are notoriously good at spreading disease. I'd not get in one. Pools, maybe, but indoor pools usually reek of chlorine for a reason.

Automobile TV ads are increasingly making offers to delay or defer loan payments if you run into financial difficulties due to the economic effects of the pandemic. I think that’s good marketing.

There is one major company, however, that repeatedly shows a “feel good” ad that simply says “we’ve got your back”. No mention of how- just nice pictures of children, families, and verdant fields. It bugs me, because it really comes across as empty platitudes.

The two big DIY stores, Lowe’s and Home Depot, are promoting that they have toilet paper. In store only, no delivery.

This may be the strangest loss leader I have ever seen

As you note, these are DIY stores, so some assembly may be required.

I've actually seen it being assembled. As long as you've got a massive Fourdrinier machine (approx 25 x 25 x 100 feet), the rest is easy.

Would interest continue to accumulate? I've seen that done before on credit cards. "Feel free to make no payments for the next six months! (And at the end of six months, you'll owe us even more than before.)"

Fortunately, I’m not in the market for a car. If I were, I’d read the fine print very carefully

During our last outing, Mrs Extravoice picked up some supplies for baking. Since some items were hard to come by, she picked up a bag of "artisan" chocolate chips.
The part that really confused me is that they are "extra semi sweet".

    Twice the Meat*

*Required by the Lasagna with Meat Sauce standard.

That's a standard which allows half the meat required in "lasagna with meat and sauce".
