Below are some of the best I've read:

    the second creation
    the fabric of reality
    the elegant universe
    the inflationary universe
    a brief history of time
    the extravagant universe
    subtle is the lord
    just six numbers
    black holes and time warps
    dreams of a final theory
    the first three minutes
    the lightness of being
    from eternity to here
    longing for the harmonies
    the black hole war

    I need to read:

    relativity
    the meaning of relativity
coming of age in the milky way
    the whole shebang
    the character of physical law
    hyperspace
    the emperor's new mind
    our cosmic habitat

I'm currently reading Don't Be Evil by Rana Foroohar. I don't know if I will finish it. Do you know of any books on astro-economics? The study of potential alien civilization economic systems.

Have you read these? These are good ones:

Einstein's Telescope; the hunt for dark matter and dark energy in the Universe [2010] -- Evalyn Gates

The Birth of Time: How Astronomers Measure the Age of the Universe [2001] -- John Gribbin

Then, just to shake things up:

    Water Music [1982] -- T.C. Boyle
Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts.
