I am wrong. It is only almost three times. It is something like 2.68, or something. Ain't done the math but could.

I'm so old I remember "duck and cover" drills being done monthly at my school.

After reading the declassified Soviet targeting schedule as to who gets what special delivery at the height of the cold war I realized that old school desk of my may have been sub-adequate to the task. If I recall correctly in a thirty mile half circle there was a five, (San Francisco) five, (SF Airport) ten, (Hunter's Point Naval Shipyards) ten (Treasure Island) and a big ol' twenty, (Oakland shipyards) megaton devices targeted. Not to mention the not insignificant delivery of a at least a 1/4 megaton device to every population center in the US with thirty thousand or more people in it.

It seems at some point in all that all you'd be doing is just stirring the ashes.

Of course nowadays our counterstrike would have to await the approval of an environmental impact statement.

I stopped a British time traveler from killing Julius Caesar which would have prevented American independence.

OMG. I remember those now. Except we had them once a week. Never the same day twice in a row. Nor the same times.

IASO that I remember having a toy freighter, just after the Cuban Missile Crisis, that expanded out to be a secret mobile nuclear missile platform. I had a lot of fun with that ship.
