I'm Not Evil.
An evil person would do the things that pop into my head.
The only show I watch with any regularity is Grey's Anatomy mostly because my wife makes sure there is wine to go with the show.
I would much rather watch Dr. Who or something like that, but the new season hasn't started on BBC America.
Solfe
TBBT
Eureka (now that it's back on)
And my local PBS station is starting an all-British TV channel next month. Could be dangerous.
Everything I need to know I learned through Googling.
Just as an aside, BBC America ran the Planet Earth series this past weekend. The advertising talked about how Americans would finally be able to see the series as it was intended. That is, with narration by David Attenborough.
Someone didn't get the message. The cable provider's menu listed "Planet Earth: Narrated by Sigourney Weaver."

since I grew up in the 1960s, weaned on rabbit ear/TV attenae on roofs, with three channels, and a time when people were thrilled to get color TV: I try to find on cable my favorites of that era: Bewitched, Jeannie, Get Smart, Twilight Zone, Gilligan's Island, a few I've seen a lot recently. Those type had less reality and more left to the imagination, I like those type.
One guy, you might remember him, Alfred Hitchcock in addition to movies had a 5 year TV series, boy that guy really played with your mind with ironic plot twists, even more so than Rod Serling . I wonder sometimes if he hadn't been a famous director, would he have been a criminal ? just speculating.
Someone mention Poirot? It's on ITV3 at the moment as it happens.

Poirot (with David Suchet) has been running since 1989 and is still going.

If all goes according to plan, the last few stories will be filmed this year.
I would have loved to see David play a younger Poirot, as being remembered by Peter Ustinov's incarnation--with him playing the part in Curtain. Sadly with Ustinovs death this is not possible.
We just cut back our full-blown Dish package w/HBO, etc, to the lowest cost, most basic package (at 1/4 the cost of the full package). Fortunately the basic package has Discovery and Science channels.
Since the austerity move, I haven't watched that much PBS for years.
Hopefully this is a temporary thing. So far, I haven't missed my Sci-Fi shows and ESPN, but we'll see if we can hold out after a couple of weeks. My wife broke down and ordered a PPV movie last night.

Not keen on the later Poirot books when AC revived him.
I miss Hastings and Japp. Can't stand Ariadne Oliver.
I was looking forward to their 'Murder on the Orient Express' but it was absolutely terrible, they put in a lot of religous 'crisis of faith' rubbish for Poirot that wasn't in the books.
