WIMPs are really Weekly Interacting Massive Particles. They don't interact often enough to be detected.

The original Galilean moons were Galileo protesting his house arrest from the windows of his home. The history books cleaned it up later.

In the classic movie "The Princess Smurf" one character delivered the unforgettable lines that started with "Hello. My name is Indigo Montoya.".

In keeping with their knack for understatement, the Irish shall henceforth refer to the COVID-19 pandemic as “The Sniffles”.

It's not widely known that bagels got their name from the survivors of Darwin's expedition to the Galapagos Islands. On the return trip they ran out of food, and some desperate folks started eating the cork in the lifebuoys. Unfortunately, through some misunderstanding, this seastory later had some folks thinking it concerned a delicacy, which now leaves us with the barely edible lifebuoy shaped bagel.

When we realize that patterns don't exist in the universe, they are a template that we hold to the universe to make sense of it, it all makes a lot more sense.

So the end of the new season of COSMOS saw Neil get in a spherical travel bubble with VR Einstein.
I, on the other hand, got Zwicky—who for 20 minutes called me a spherical...well...you get the point

That's the infamous Galapagos False Bagel. The true Bagel is a completely different thing, cross between the Breadfruit and a tree hollow.

While Colombian coffee may be made in any coffee maker, Pre-Colombian coffee must only be made in clay pots in keeping with tradition dating prior to 1492.

Considering the cost per gram involved in space travel, It's good that astronauts "go" before they go.

Due to mask wearing at work laws, Hollywood can now produce only bank, train, and stagecoach robbery movies.
