Yes, by one hour, on the clock that is, but not in reality. That would be CET (Central European Time) = GTM+1.

But, to make things complicated, we presently have daylight savings time.

However, even when a region inside of GMT has daylight savings time, GMT does not change.

So, I am now at GMT+2. As of sometime in autumn I will not be. Then again sometime next spring.

I'm sorry to be causing so much confusion with GMT+1/+2. I'll try to better myself on the future.

Is calling GMT Zulu politically correct?

So, if I understand you correctly, you are at GMT+2 now and in the fall you are GMT+2-1=GMT+1. I'm at GMT-4, but we too are on daylight savings time, so in autumn, we are at GMT-4+-1=GMT-5. I bet a penny to a dime, I screwed that up.

    What a great attitude.

I'm genuinely pleased to here that. Fastpitch or slow pitch?

Hub', see you in July, I hope K has his camera ready. The photos will be an important phase... I guess, I think? Can somebody clue me in? I'm lost in a whirlwind, which isn't unusual, I like the wind in my hair, but I need my feets on the ground. Enjoy your trip, Hub'. Note: I just wanted to add some drama and suspense.

Btw, fast pitch. Slow pitch is for old men with bad knees.

Excellent, the more the better. Maybe we will see the return of Fastpitch softball to the Olympics.

No, you're right. So you lose. I'll take the dime.

Isn't it a female dog when you get something right and lose anyway?

That's like walking with a friend through a long, narrow tunnel. When he says "oh, I see the light at the end of the tunnel" and you say "no, that's a train coming."

Sometimes it's better to be wrong. A thought most OPs in the CT forum should adopt.

Errr, hmmmm, no, it doesn't work that way. Daybreak is around 5.30am. (But it's well known that people in Florida have trouble counting.)

Strangely enough, despite time zones when we have sunrise at 5.30am (CET/DST), they also do in England, i.e. 5.30am local time, which is 4.30am Zulu if you're in the military - or just enjoy being terribly incorrect politically. Just imagine!

It's still better to be right and have to give away a dime, than to be wrong and only gain a penny. You see it all the time in frivolous lawsuits.

Hey! That's an attack on my count-ability. You said 22.30 for sunset, yes? Is that not 10:30pm? I'm with Hub', I may have to reverse my counting toward the sunset and if that doesn't make sense, oh well.

In defense of the whole state of Florida, I mean, even NASA counts backwards. There must be something to it. 10, 9, 8, 7, 5, 4, 2... Its hard, I can only get to seven.

COH! I have, but dealers have a sly way of maintaining their customers. There's an old saying, something like "a business can't run its elf or it will run its elf into the ground...", I know you adhere to it, but give the elves a break once in a while.

Tossing dwarfs is politically incorrect, so we wanted to have an elf tossing contest.

There was one major problem we neglected to consider before we rented the venue and had all the flyers printed up: elves don't exist.

    Boy did we look stupid.

Almost as stupid as all those brain dead OPs in CT. But not quite.

And the elves got that periodic break you've so ruthlessly been campaigning for.

We could have substituted with a troll tossing contest, but there was an issue about the bosses telling us we were intrinsically incapable of identifying trolls by ourselves and about something called a report button.

Btw, what round of niceties and not so niceties are we in now?

You shouldn't tempt disgruntled people -- 10 watt light bulbs were going off everywhere in Keeblerville. Yes, elves are people too.

I thought you said you "tossed your dwarfves", while watching the World Cup, "too much beer, not enough time." I couldn't really understand your garbled speech... and since when did "tossing dwarfs" become political?

You said it, not me. Oh, they exist, but most of them are invisible. Don't you feel that tapping on your shoulder or don't you find that there are an unusual amount of banana peels in your path? All done by sneaky, snickering little elves. They are so cute, all chocolate covered and stuff. Hence the bananas.

    Again, mostly elves.

Better to listen to the bosses and save face, then not to and gain an infractioned nose.

I couldn't tell ya "round" wise, but I think we have six more days to go. I've hired a caddy to help with club selection and to keep me hydrated.

    Hang in there!!

    Guess what.

    I win this round.

Now, I have to admire women.

To get our beer, we men have to put up with this:

To get your shoes, you women have to put up with this:

LOL! That comment made me laugh, seriously laugh, but I know it's no laughing matter. I congratulate you for co-authoring "The Day in the Life of Women with Yeast Mold and The Courageous Men Who Love Them." It was very unselfish and loving of you. Kudos!

    Nope, not unselfish.

While the women are reading the book, they stop nagging, so we men get a few short minutes of peace and quiet.

Unless of course you mean the chapter "Don't blame the yeast on your partner: no, it's not his fault."

    Yes, that chapter was unselfish.

Minutes? Yes, I guess "book" was too strong of a word, it's more like a flyer.

It was just one short sentence, not really a chapter, followed by "How to Keep the Males at Bay, Start and Maintain Your Very Own Yeast Mold "Colony" Today." "Order your starter kit at 555-Kdoo" "Only $9.99, if you order within the next 3 years!" "Don't miss out, supplies are limited"
