    Meteorite help

In my Astronomy class we were all given meteorite samples, and are to find as much information on them as possible, just from the small amount of given info we already have. I was wondering if any of you know of any good websites that can tell you the history of meteorites, such as where they were found, classifications of the sample, eye witness accounts of the fall, or any other kinds of information. I need as many sources as I can find, and I haven't been able to find many good web sources.

    Thanks.

I found some good sites about meteors, not so much about history and eyewitness accounts. But you can have a look at these:

    http://www.solarviews.com/eng/meteor.htm

    http://www.alaska.net/~meteor/type.htm

    http://www.meteorlab.com/

    http://www.meteorite.fr/en/basics/charts.htm
Everything I need to know I learned through Googling.

Ah, thanks man. I found that top one in a search, but those other three are new to me. I appreciate it.

You might see if you could find a copy of "Rocks from Space" by O. Richard Norton. Very useful.
